Miss Fallaize performs a range of minor surgical procedures for the removal of benign skin and soft tissue lesions. Procedures are carried out under local anaesthetic in a comfortable clinical setting, with careful attention to both the clinical outcome and the cosmetic result.

Defaecatory Disorders
Defaecatory disorders — including constipation, obstructed defaecation, and related functional bowel conditions — can be complex, distressing, and significantly impact quality of life. Abdominal & Laparoscopic
General Surgery
Miss Fallaize offers expert surgical management of a range of common abdominal conditions. Wherever possible, procedures are performed laparoscopically (keyhole surgery), which typically results in less post-operative discomfort, a shorter hospital stay, and a faster return to normal activities.
Hernia repair
Including inguinal, femoral, umbilical, and incisional hernias
Gallbladder removal (cholecystectomy)
Laparoscopic removal for gallstones and gallbladder disease
Haemorrhoidectomy
Surgical excision of haemorrhoids for which rubber band ligation is not adequate
Surgical Facilities
Operations at Jersey General Hospital
Procedures requiring a general anaesthetic can be accommodated at Jersey General Hospital through the private patient pathways. Patients may stay overnight on the private Sorel Ward or be treated through the private day-case unit, depending on the nature of the procedure. All pre- and post-operative care is undertaken at the clinic. Anaesthetic assessment is arranged either at the clinic or by telephone.
Self-funding & Insured Patients
Guernsey Surgical welcomes both self-funding and insured patients. Miss Fallaize works with most major private medical insurers. Please contact us prior to your appointment to confirm your cover, and have your membership number and authorisation details to hand.
