Miss Rebecca Fallaize MB BS, PGCMedEd, FRCS

Consultant Surgeon, Guernsey

Miss Rebecca Fallaize is a Consultant Surgeon based in Guernsey, Channel Islands, with extensive experience in general and colorectal surgery. She trained in London and the Southwest before returning to Guernsey in 2019. She brings with her a wealth of specialist expertise and a genuine commitment to patient-centred care.

Miss Fallaize completed her surgical training on the Severn Deanery, gaining broad experience across general and colorectal surgery including minimally invasive and laparoscopic techniques. She holds a place on the GMC Specialist Register for Colorectal Surgery. She has a particular interest in the management of acute surgical presentations and benign elective colorectal conditions, as well as open hernia repair, laparoscopic cholecystectomy and minor skin surgery.

Throughout her career, Miss Fallaize has been committed to delivering the highest standards of surgical care — combining technical precision with a warm, compassionate approach. She takes time to listen carefully to each patient, ensuring they feel fully informed and supported at every stage of their treatment, from initial consultation through to recovery.

She continues her day-to-day public work in Jersey, where she leads the emergency general surgical services. Since working there she has redesigned the emergency surgical services, introducing ambulatory pathways and improving patient care. This has been shown to improve patient satisfaction and reduce the amount of time people need to spend in hospital.
